Eldoa

ELDOA™ is a precise method of postural exercises developed by French osteopath Guy Voyer D.O. Its aim is to create space within the joints and normalize movement at specific segments. The term stands for Étirement Longitudinaux et Decoaptation Osteo Articulaire. Practically, it involves holding postures for about 60 seconds to engage fascial tension, lengthen tissue, and influence alignment. The result is improved joint mechanics, pain reduction, and better global posture.

How it works

ELDOA postures use a combination of myofascial tension and deep muscular activation to create a separating force in the targeted joint. Each exercise is segment-specific—whether for the cervical, thoracic, or lumbar spine, or peripheral structures such as the hips, ribs, or cranium. Postures are held in an extreme range of motion, which facilitates joint decompression, strengthens stabilizing muscles, and improves neuromyofascial balance.

  • Ces sessions en ligne de 2 heures offrent un espace pour pratiquer, affiner et intégrer les principes ELDOA avec précision et profondeur.
    Chaque rencontre débute par une pratique guidée axée sur la qualité de la mise en tension, l’alignement et le coaching, afin de revisiter les postures clés et d’en perfectionner l’exécution dans un contexte clinique choisi.

    Nous poursuivrons avec l’explication de la séquence et la mise en place d'applications cliniques — explorant les principes, les compensations fréquentes et les façons d’intégrer les ELDOA dans différents contextes : thérapie manuelle, performance sportive ou rééducation.

    L’objectif : vous aider à incarner le travail à travers votre propre pratique et à enrichir votre compréhension pour guider vos clients avec justesse, confiance et intention.

    Ces sessions sont réservées aux praticiens ayant complété au minimum la formation ELDOA 1-2 (combinaison), ou la formation ELDOA et EMF à l’Académie Sutherland d’Ostéopathie du Québec.
