This one-day micro-course explores the complex relationship between the hip joint and the surrounding fascial system. Designed for trainers and manual therapists, Unlocking the Hip Complex offers a new therapeutic perspective for addressing non-acute injuries and movement limitations within the hip complex.
Throughout the day, we’ll explore a variety of methodologies aimed at improving hip function and harmonizing its relationship with the rest of the body. This course will offer new insights on:
Specific proprioceptive exercises
Myofascial stretching
Segmental strengthening
Global integration movement
There will also be time dedicated to analyzing specific tests used to assess the hip, identify restrictions, and determine areas of imbalance. The depth of these tests will, of course, depend on your existing anatomical knowledge. Participants will learn how to apply these tests to assess both the hip joint and the surrounding fascial relationships.
By aligning these methodologies with the myofascial anatomy of the hip complex, this micro-course aims to provide practical new tools and open the door to a fresh analytical lens. Participants will be able to enrich their clinical or training practice and help their clients improve hip function or move pain-free.
